Grandparents Day

Pierre de Coubertin opened its doors to some very special guests on September 18  as students welcomed their grandparents for a heartwarming celebration of the special bond they share.

Inspired by National Grandparents Day, which was observed on September 13, the school is organized an “Apple for My Grandparent” celebration, bringing generations together for a special morning of activities, treats and quality time at school. Each student was invited to bring one grandparent to participate.

Recognizing that not every grandparent is able to attend, students will also be allowed to invite another special adult in their lives, such as an aunt, uncle, godparent, cousin or family friend.
