PDC Dress Code

How to dress at school

All students must come to school properly and neatly dressed. Furthermore, students from Grades 1 to 6 are expected and encouraged to wear the school uniform which consists of a blue school cardigan (crested), a white top with collar and solid navy blue pants or skirt. Parents are encouraged to label all of their child's belongings. This will insure that lost items are returned to their owner. The following items are not considered proper dress and are not permitted:

  • Jeans, jogging pants, or tights
  • Sleeveless T-shirts and/or T-shirts
  • Shorts of any type or style except for knee-length bermudas and culottes
  • Motorcycle jackets, painted jeans and jackets
  • Boots of any kind are not to be worn in class
  • Sweatshirts and sweatpants
  • Make-up and nail polish
  • Cargo pants
  • Long ankle length skirts

Our school is a special place for learning. It is important that we dress appropriately. Just as there is a special way to dress for church, or parties, or for play, there is a special way to dress for school.
